Neon Automatic: stunning Swiss powered watches from Hamtun

Hello everyone.

I'm a few days late writing this, but considering how big the goal was on this project, funded in a week is a great result. Thank you all so much for your support so far.

For those of you that haven't seen, you can now add one of our German made leather straps to your order by adding £25 to your pledge. All of the reviewers have agreed that they are incredible quality (check out the reviews on our campaign page if you've not seen them), so if you're on the fence have a look at them. They will be more expensive once the Kickstarter is over and I'm selling them directly.

I'll be working to get the Neon reviewed by more people over the next couple of weeks as we look to push on towards a stretch goal. If you know any blogs/websites/YouTube channels that you think would be interested in seeing one, let me know in the comments or via email to [email protected]

For those of you that are new to Kickstarter, a brief summary of what happens next. Once the campaign ends your cards will be charged. Once those payments are processed the funds will be transferred to me. This takes about 10-14 days. Once I receive cleared funds I will email each of you a survey to the email address you signed up to Kickstarter with. The survey will collect your preferences (colours, add-ons etc) and shipping addresses.

Hi guys, a short update to say thanks so much for all the support so far and tell you about a new option.

I was nervous that doing something higher spec would put people off, but the crazy first day of orders really blew me away. I can’t wait to get your Neon to you and see what you think, I’m so proud of how they have turned out.

As a few of you will know, I also have some leather straps designed for the Neon collection. They are made in Germany by Di-Modell and are beautifully made. Google Di-Modell if you don’t know of them.

You can now order one by adding £25 to your pledge. The standard strap is black leather with black and white stitching. I sent them out to the reviewers, who all really liked them. Quote from thetimebum.com:

“The matte black leather has a pronounced grain similar to buffalo hide and two rows of stitching in black and yellow to match the dial. As you would imagine, it was impeccably made”

If enough people are interested, I’ll also add colour matched stitching (so you’d be able to get blue stitching with a blue Neon, for example). For now, if you’d be interested in any of them, just add £25 to your pledge. If we see enough interest I will let you know that colour matches ones will be available. You can change your mind and remove the £25 any time between now, so there is no risk. The more of you that show interest, the higher the chance of doing all the options.

Finally, I don’t know if you saw, but there is a referral scheme running for the Neon. Sign up at http://neon-automatic-the-stunning-sw.kickbooster.me/boost and share your unique link on forums, social media or wherever and you can get paid 15% of each new sale you refer. We did the same for the H1 campaign and paid out thousands to people, so you can make some real money!
